SURFING

ERICEIRA SURFING
Traditional fishing village, Ericeira has developed a lot in the last century. Due to the growing demand for summer resorts during the 20th century, it maintains its original characteristics and a unique atmosphere.

In 2011 Ericeira was elected World Surfing Reserve, the only one in Europe, and is considered the surfing capital in Portugal and offers an impressive variety of surf spots, reduced by just a few kilometers of coastline.

For experienced surfers, Ericeira and its surroundings are like heaven on earth. They can choose from more than 15 surf spots on just 8 kilometers of coastline. Ericeira's surf spots are known for their level of consistency at all levels of surfers, the quality of the water and the unique beauty that surrounds them.
Ericeira has a lot of surf! This is not a city with a single beach where there is only one place where you can surf and enjoy the beach, there are more than 10 separate places to go.
